Job description

As a Safety Officer, you will work closely with colleagues and clients to ensure and improve workplace safety. You will be involved in various projects, ensuring that all activities comply with current laws and regulations. Your responsibilities will include:

• Conducting risk assessments and evaluations (RI&E)
• Supporting the development and implementation of safety measures
• Advising on and monitoring safety regulations
• Assisting with incident investigations and preparing reports
• Organizing toolbox meetings and safety awareness campaigns
• Contributing to the creation and maintenance of safety procedures

Job requirements

• Completed MBO or HBO education in Safety Engineering (IVK) or a related field
• Interest in and basic knowledge of occupational health, safety, and environmental legislation
• Strong communication skills and the ability to advise at various levels
• Proactive attitude and attention to detail
• Able to work independently but also a team player
• Possession of a category B driver’s license is a plus
